Recipe Peppers stuffed with tuna
- 4 peppers
- 500 g canned tuna
- 400 ml fresh cream
- 150 g parmesan
- 130 g breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp. chopped chives
- salt pepper
- olive oil
- 8 c. Parmesan cheese
Wash and cut the peppers in half. Remove the seeds and the white membranes and place them in a lightly oiled gratin dish. Drizzle the pepper halves with a drizzle of olive oil.
Make the filling: crumble the tuna with a fork, then add fresh cream, parmesan, breadcrumbs, minced garlic cloves and chopped chives. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
If the stuffing seems too “dry”, add a little olive oil. Distribute this preparation in the half peppers.
Sprinkle with a tablespoon of parmesan and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C.
Halfway through cooking, cover with aluminum foil to prevent the filling from drying out too much. Serve immediately!
