What is the concept of I bring the dessert?
I’ll bring the dessert! is a new cooking program offered by the C8 channel. Jean-Baptiste Martinon, presented as a “young gourmet biker”, is going on one tour of France with regional specialties, but also taste and cultural experiences. The goal? Experience the typical desserts of France to make viewers drool.
The first episode first takes place in the stream, where Jean-Baptiste will share his first typical dessert from the region: Trouble. He will then head towards Mont Ventoux to discover rock gardens. Meanwhile, the host wants an appointment to “jump off a cliff … with the record holder in the category! So head to Marseille, in search of the city’s best pizza.”
During the second episode, he will discover chocolate covered madeleines specialty in Brive-la-Gaillarde. Then “to Turenne, one of the most beautiful villages in France, to share his dessert with a trio of local children: the musical group 3 cafés gourmand.” Jean-Baptiste Martinon will take the opportunity to discover other local products such as Périgord strawberries, truffles, walnut tart and an old walnut oil mill.
When do I bring the dessert air?
First episode of I’ll bring the dessert! will be broadcast on Tuesday 5 July at 9.15pm on C8. Currently, the channel has not specified the number of episodes planned for broadcast.
