If you have purchased this meat tray, please do not consume it and bring it directly to the point of sale to get it refund. This recall procedure ends on June 29, 2022.
Why was this recall ordered?
The reason for the recall is the presence of traces of microorganisms “Toxigenic Shiga Escherichia coli (STEC)”. This bacteria can cause diarrhea sometimes bloody abdominal pains and vomiting, with or without fever in the week after consuming the contaminated product. In 5 to 8% of cases – and especially in children – these symptoms can be followed by serious kidney complications.
If you have bought this meat and if after consuming it you have felt this type of symptoms, it is recommended that you consult your doctor as soon as possible. On the other hand, if consumption goes back more than ten days and you do not feel any symptoms, there is no need to worry.
